These Royal Bank of Scotland £1 notes were issued in the 1950’s and early 60’s (P324). They follow a design by Lizars first introduced in the 19th century. The portrait of George I flanked by a lion and a unicorn is top centre with allegorical females in the bottom corners. Bank headquarters in Edinburgh and Glasgow are framed on the back. We offer some lovely examples in Crisp VF-GVF.
