Billon Antoninianus of Quintillus, one of the shortest ruling Roman Emperors. The record books show that Quintillus became emperor on the death of his brother Claudius II 'Gothicus' in 270 AD. He was emperor some say for 17 days, others say 177 days, not long in any case. He is an emperor whose coins are missing from many collections. We have a small group of bronze coins in Extremely Fine condition. The portrait of Quintillus is on one side with a standing figure on the other. These are scarce coins in any condition but these are exceptionally hard to find and so nice.
