Irish halfpennies from 1774-1782
divider
Between 1774 and 1782 the Royal Mint in London issued a series of copper halfpennies for circulation in Ireland, and we have a small number in Fair and Very Good condition to offer. The obverse shows a bust of King George III with long hair and wearing a laurel wreath, while the reverse has the traditional Cláirseach (or Gaelic harp) surrounded by the date and HIBERNIA. Numbers are limited, so be sure to order early.
