This one is a shame but we have made up for it with my price. A group of 9 Germany mini spiel marke jettons from about the early 1900’s. The problem is that they were not stored property and they all have rust on them. Especially as one depicts a Graff Zeppelin! You get the Graff Zeppelin, a peacock, a military ship, a Swiss cross and 1, 2, 5, 10 and 50 gambling markers.
Just in from the Silvertowne Mint in Indiana, USA, is this 1/10 ounce 9999 fine silver round which pays tribute to the famous ‘Buffalo’ Nickel coin which was struck between 1913 and 1938, although curiously, the animal on the coin is actually a bison! The original coins are also referred to as the ‘Indian Head’ Nickel but these days we use the term ‘Native American’. The combination of the two designs made this coin one of the most striking and popular designs on American coinage. These are beautiful frosted proof-like Brilliant Uncirculated silver rounds but we only have 100 available.
The Solomon Islands is a group of South Pacific islands, but their coins still carry the Queen’s portrait. The coins are dated between 1996-2012 and many of the coins are no longer available due to the high cost of minting them. You get 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 and 50 Cents plus the 1 & 2 Dollars. Each coin has the Queen’s portrait and each coin is in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. Not an easy place to get coins from, in fact not an easy place to get to in any case. A friend went there and therefore we are able to offer you this fantastic set of 8 different Brilliant Uncirculated coins. But we don’t have all that many, so if you want one, please get in quickly…
In 1961 South Africa reformed its currency, abandoning the old pound for the decimal rand. Before that the pound followed the same system as in the UK, with 20 shillings to the pound and 12 pence to the shilling. Here we can offer you a selection of the last shillings struck between 1953 and 1960 with the young laureate head of Elizabeth II. These Uncirculated coins are .500 silver.
