Zaire medal Silver coloured

You don’t see a lot of material from Zaire, and certainly not much in the line of medals. So we were naturally pleased to be able to purchase this small group. They are Civilian Awards for Merit in Agriculture and are silver coloured. The designs are the same: a central Shield of arms surrounded by a wreath and small medallions showing agricultural implements and produce. On the reverses the legend: ‘Republique du Zaire – Merite Agricole’ and twelve stars. We imagine that the ‘Silver’ coloured is the higher ranked medal! The ribbons are equal stripes of red and green with a central yellow gold stripe for medal. Very limited number available, so please order quickly.
