We're delighted to unveil our latest stock for October, meticulously curated to bring fresh and invigorating options to your collection. 

This month's highlights include, George III, Bank of England Issue, Eighteen Pence, Bank Token 1811, Uncirculated. During the Napoleonic Wars, the Bank of England ordered the production of silver tokens which were issued as legal tender. These One Shilling and Sixpence (Eighteen pence) silver tokens were struck in 1811, featuring the armoured bust of George III. Take this opportunity to own a historically important piece from the Napoleonic War era.

We also have the Victoria Sixpence 1887 Wreath Choice Uncirculated,the third different sixpence of 1887, issued to stop people gold plating the sixpence and passing them off as gold coins. The reverse shows a wreath with the value spelled out, to try and stop the practice.

Furthermore, we have the Charles III, £2 2024, The Lion & The Eagle One Ounce, following on from the recent collaboration between the Royal Mint and the US Mint combining Britannia and Liberty on a one ounce coin, this new 2024 release features The Lion and The Eagle, two national icons harmoniously brought together on a new UK coin. Struck in .999 fine silver and in Brilliant Uncirculated condition straight from the Royal Mint.

In 1996 the late Queen Elizabeth II celebrated her 70th birthday. For this occasion, the Royal Mint issued special commemorative £5 coins. They also issued Specimen examples in card holders known as Bubble Packs. What many collectors don’t realize is that the coins in the bubble packs are Specimen Uncirculated and thus of much higher quality. We offer these 1996 Bubble Pack £5 pieces at a very special prices.

Issued in 2012 to commemorate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, this striking coin bears two portraits of our late Queen. The obverse carries a half-length crowned portrait of Queen Elizabeth II facing right, wearing Queen Mary’s tiara and Garter Robes. This design was inspired by the sculpture mounted in the entrance to the Supreme Court building on Parliament Square. The reverse shows the young laureate portrait of Elizabeth, similar to that which was used on her early coinage. This sits above an olive branch and ribbon with the date 2012 and the legend DIRIGE DEVS GRESSVS MEOS – May God Direct My Steps. The obverse and reverse of the coin were both designed by the distinguished sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley. The coins are gleaming specimen BU housed in the special presentation packs issued by the Mint.

These United States Quarters these are for the Territories of Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, U. S. Virgin Islands, Northern Mariana Islands and the District of Columbia. All of them are in Brilliant Proof condition and the set of six is in the Offi cial United States Mint Holder. This dealer offered us a quantity all brilliant Proof and all sealed in the United States Mint holder at a price which we couldn’t resist. The price for the complete set of six United States Territorial Quarters is just £18.50, at this price they are great value for the money. Also note that we DO NOT handle the Uncirculated examples. Why would we, when these Proof examples are so reasonable?

In 2010 Argentina produced a series of five 1 peso coins to mark the 200th Anniversary of the May Revolution of 1810, which led to its independence from Spain just six years later. The uncirculated bi-metallic coins all show important features and locations of the country. These are the pre-Inca ruins of Pucara de Tilcara, El Palmar National Park, the Perito Moreno Glacier, Mount Aconcagua and Mar del Plata.

The 2024 Australian Dragon Rectangular 1oz Silver Coin is limited to a mintage of only 250,000 coins. It features the new portrait of Charles III with a stylised dragon on the reverse marking the Lunar Year of the Dragon. The P125 Mintmark is hidden in the design to signify the Perth Mint’s 125th anniversary and the date 2024 is hidden in the bottom right corner. The birth dates for people ruled by the Chinese Lunar Dragon include 1928, 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012, and 2024. In Chinese culture, those who are born under the influence of this sign are said to be charismatic, confident, powerful, naturally lucky, and gifted. Australia, George VI Set of 5 Kangaroo Pennies

In 1938 Australia changed the design of its pre-decimal pennies to include a kangaroo on the reverse side. We are able to offer you a set of 5 such coins from the reign of George VI and in Very Fine condition. Three of the coins will be from the 1938-1948 period when the coins included the Emperor of India title (IND:IMP) in the legend, and another 2 will cover the final years of his reign when the title was removed. The years in each pack will be our own choice.
