First up, we’re spotlighting the Elizabeth I Threepence, available in Fine or Very Good condition. The silver threepence of Queen Elizabeth I (1558-1603), first minted at the Tower mint in 1561, was part of her broader effort to reform England’s currency and stabilise the economy following the monetary debasements of her father – Henry VIII. They were amongst the first British coins to feature dates and therefore, like the sixpences are popular with collectors. They are at least 442 years old.
Next is the Victoria, Godless Florin 1849 Fine! Britain's first step towards decimalisation, these rare coins sparked controversy by omitting "Dei Gratia" (By the Grace of God), earning them the nickname "Godless Florin." Struck only from 1849 to 1851, they represent a monumental shift in British currency that paved the way for the decimal system we know today.
Our third feature follows on with Victoria, Farthing, 1888, Choice Brilliant Uncirculated, and these coins are some of the finest examples that we have ever seen. They are fantastic for any type collection, they will really stand out and draw attention. There are a very small number available.

In 1958 this commemorative silver dollar was struck to mark the centenary of British Colombia as a province of Canada. The name was chosen by Queen Victoria herself to distinguish it from American or Southern Colombia, which later became the US State of Oregon. On the reverse side of the coin there is a traditional North West Coast First Nations totem pole with mountains in the background. The coins themselves come in Uncirculated condition and are struck in .800 fine Silver.
These bronze cash coins were issued during the reign of Wang Mang, known as Shijianguo Emperor, who was the only ruler of the short-lived Xin Dynasty (9-23AD). Land reform and income tax are among the new innovations introduced during his reign. The design of the coins themselves is simple, round with a square hole in the middle and Chinese ideograms which, read right to left, mean “wealth coin”. These are available in Very Fine condition but some have more verdigris than others.
The Commonwealth Mint in Birmingham struck the 1985 Cuban Souvenir Peso, much better strikes than the Tower Mint did. They are beautiful proof pieces each in a protective capsule. They struck them in silver plated Proof and gold plated Proof, something the Tower Mint never did. The mintage was just 1,000 in silver plated and 1,000 in gold plated. No more will ever be made, the dies are being given to a museum. The coin on offer here is the 1985 Commonwealth Mint Souvenir Peso Gold Plated Previous issues have increased in value due to collector demand, we do not sell anything as an investment, just reporting the facts.

Perikles was the last known independent dynast of Lycia who ruled from 375-362 BC. He is mostly known from his coinage and inscriptions found in the region. Lycia is located in what is modern day Antalya, Turkey, where a monumental tomb was built in his honour and decorated with friezes showing Pericles going to war. Several of these friezes are preserved in the Antalya Archaeological Museum. We have a small number of these silver 1/3 Staters from his reign showing a lion's scalp on the obverse and a triskeles on the reverse with his name in Lycian script. Offered in two grades to suit your budget but very limited availability.
