Yugoslav People's Army Medal

This medal was issued in 1981 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Yugoslav People’s Army. It is struck in gilt bronze and suspended from a triangular red ribbon with thin blue stripes. On the obverse is a portrait of the former President of Yugoslavia, Marshal Josip Broz Tito. On the reverse side is the inscription “40. GODINA JUGOSLAVENSKE NARODNE ARMIJE” (“40th anniversary of the Yugoslav People’s Army”). Only a very limited number available.
