United States of America, 1 Dollar 1988 Olympics Silver Proof
In 1988 the United States Mint issued a Special Silver Dollar for the Summer Olympics, held in Seoul, South Korea. In 1983 and 1984 the Mint issued Silver Dollars for the Los Angeles Olympics. This one is a little more difficult to find. You have the Olympic Torch lighting the torch from the Statue of Liberty. The other side has the Olympic rings, the value, and the United States of America. They are struck in 900 fine Silver and are in Proof condition. Now 30 years old and not all that easy to find and they do look quite handsome in Proof condition.
