United States of America, 2000 Quarter Proof Set

A collection of all five of the United States State Quarters issued in 2005 all in Proof condition. This set is now 13 years old and you get one quarter each from California, Minnesota, Oregon, Kansas, and West Virginia. These are legal tender coins and can be used anywhere as money, but they are in Proof condition and thus are specially struck for collectors. All five coins are in the official United States Mint case of issue.

This was issued as part of one of the most popular series of coins in the world, the United States Quarter set. Fifty quarters over 10 years, representing five States that joined the Union. The coins are in Proof condition in a double-sided display case, they are rather beautiful and interesting. Illinois with Lincoln, Alabama with Helen Keller, Maine with a lighthouse, Missouri with the arch and Arkansas wheat and a diamond. Washington is on the front of each coin with ‘In God We Trust’. This set is most interesting as most people don’t know a lot about the States represented.

This is the first time that we have been able to offer these huge silvered 10 Kwacha coins from Malawi. They measure about 2 inches across, have a full-colour photo of a bird of prey on one side and the arms of Malawi on the other side.
