United States of America, Presidential Dollar (Martin van Buren) 1837-1841

US Buffalo Nickel, 1913. In circulated condition. First struck in 1913 and now 111 years old, this popular design was part of an attempt to make the US coinage more attractive. This five Cent coin features the head of a Native Indian on one side and an American Bison on the reverse. They quickly proved popular with the American public and despite concerns about how quickly the coins became worn in circulation, continued to be minted until 1938 when they were replaced by the Jefferson Nickel. All coins have a full date. Most coins are dated in the 1930s. Dates of our choice.

In the reign of King George V there were 2 different types of 1926 Pennies. The first type which this one is, and it’s the one you can afford. The second or modified bust is very rare and thus very expensive. You have the bust of George V on one side and a seated Britannia on the other side. The coins are in selected circulated condition, now 95 years old and the only 1926 Penny that you will ever be able to buy for your collection. Supplies are very limited.

This set of four Proof Dollars was issued in 2009 to honour four American Presidents. These presidents were William Henry Harrison, John Tyler, James A. Polk and Zachary Taylor. If you, like me, have never heard of any of these American Presidents, their names may come in handy for one of the innumerable quiz shows on TV.
