The United Kingdom, 2003 Prototype Euro Pattern Set

This is a privately issued prototype of what Euro coins might have looked like if the UK had joined the Euro. The collection contains 8 Prooflike Uncirculated coins in the same size and composition that the actual Euros were struck in. It comes in a full-colour folder with an explanation of the patterns. There were some problems in past with these issues and the collections went off sale. But we were able to buy a small supply from a dealer who bought them at the time. We are offering them at the original issue price of just £19.50! Supplies are limited and this set is now 18-years-old.

Maria Theresa Thaler (Re-strike) Brilliant Unc

Considered by many to be one of the most beautiful coins ever struck. It was struck at the Austrian Mint from 1780 until now. The fact is they still strike them today with the 1780 date on them. They are large silver coins that contain about 3/4 of an ounce of pure silver and they are in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. We have not had these for years, but a lucky buy has put them back into stock. But not at our original price of £28.50. A beautiful large silver coin, considered one of the most beautiful ever struck and at a £10.00 savings.
