Attractive square notes issued in the 1950's and 60's but reminiscent of the 19th century designs.

These square 100 kroner notes issued by Sweden have an almost 19th century feel to them but they were actually issued in the mid 20th century.
The design has Svea seated on the front and King Gustav Vasa, founder of modern Sweden and ‘father of the nation’ on the back These date from the mid 1950’s to 1960’s.

Grading VF-GVF, they are wonderful notes reminiscent of the 19th century.
