They are wonderfully illustrated with views of ancient ruins alongside illustrations of a grotto, a stone bridge, a rocky seascape, an ancient fort and temple, a view of a town, and the famous Lebanese cedars. Our trio comprises the 10,20 and 50 reichsmarks dated between 1924 and 1933 (P180-2) They are fairly densely engraved with portraits on the front of Albrecht Daniel Thaer, agronomist, Werner von Siemens, industrialist and inventor and David Hansemann, banker.
