Guinea Bissau lies between Guinea and Senegal on the ‘ bump’ of West Africa. A former Portuguese colony, Guinea Bissau issued currency in its own name until 1993. Then it became part of the West African States Monetary Union and abandoned banknotes in its own name. This quartet of notes in Crisp Uncirculated condition date from the 1990’s when Guinea Bissau still issued its own notes. Denominations included are the 50,100,500 and 1000 pesos (P10-13) A colourful Guinea Bissau Set.

Slovenia gained independence from Yugoslavia in 1991 and immediately issued new banknotes. From this first series, dated 1992, we are delighted to offer a set of 8 Specimen notes with values from the 1 to the 1000 tolarjev (P1-6s P8s-9s) Slovenia, of course, is now part of the Eurozone and since 2007, no longer issues currency in its own name. These turned up when we moved offices recently having been tucked in the back of a safe for the last 5 years!. So, as a special and to celebrate us finding them, we are offering this 8 note 1992 Slovenia Specimen Set in Crisp Uncirculated condition.
