Here is a fantastic Commemorative Coin-Cover that we have never offered before. It is a limited and numbered edition by Mercury issued to commemorate the Golden Wedding Anniversary of our late Queen and Prince Philip in 1997. It features a crown-sized 5 Dollar coin from New Zealand showing a Coronation scene, which was struck at the Royal Mint, and a 40 cent stamp from New Zealand issued for the 50th Wedding Anniversary. The cover has a colour picture of the Queen on a walkabout receiving flowers from a group of children. Limited edition and limited numbers available so get in quick.

Picture of Elizabeth II, English Shilling Collection

Elizabeth II, English Shilling Collection

We have managed to put together a few collections of all the English type Shillings issued by Queen Elizabeth II for circulation. That includes every date from 1953 to 1966, when the denomination was stopped. You get all the dates, scarce or rare, including 1953, 1954, 1955, 1956, 1957, 1958, 1959, 1960, 1961, 1962, 1963, 1964, 1965 and 1966. We no longer provide a Sandhill insert as this now adds about £6-£7 to the price and most of our collectors put them in albums anyway. All coins are in Fine or better condition and include the 1953 Coronation issue. A nice collection and not easy to put together today.

2002 £5 Golden Jubilee CN Unc_obv

Elizabeth II, £5 (Golden Jubilee) 2002 Cupro Nickel Uncirculated

In 2002, Queen Elizabeth II celebrated her 50th or Golden Jubilee as our Queen. The Royal Mint issued a special commemorative £5 to honour the event. In many ways it is similar to the Coronation Crown of 1953, as the Queen is riding her horse. The obverse is the Queen with her crown and a most striking portrait it is. They are in Uncirculated condition and now, 20 years later, following the passing of our longest reigning monarch, they are one of the most sought after coins of her reign.
