Isle of Man, Half Penny. Struck in 1733 for James Stanley the 10th Earl of Derby to provide small change for commerce. Uncirculated with some lustre.
Obverse: Stanley crest, an eagle clutching a child upon the Cap of Maintenance. SANS CHANGER above and date below.
Reverse: Triskeles with legend “QUOCUNQUE JECERIS STABIT” (whichever way you throw it, it will stand) with denomination between legs I / D / 1/2
