Anne, Halfcrown Very Good_obv

Anne, Halfcrown Very Good

It was during the reign of Queen Anne that England and Scotland finally got together. Queen Anne ruled from 1702-1714, the coins struck from Scottish silver were made from 1707-1709. We can offer this fascinating coin in Very Good condition. They are struck in sterling silver and have the bust of Queen Anne on the obverse and four crowned shields of arms on the reverse. In the reign of Queen Anne a Halfcrown or Two Shillings and Sixpence was a lot of money, as it was just before the wave of inflation was to hit this country.
