Lesotho, Mint Set 1988-2010 (6 coins)

To get to Lesotho and you have to go there from South Africa as it is in the middle of South Africa. Not easy coins to get, but in fact, most African coins are difficult to find in Uncirculated condition. The saying is the coins and notes only see a bank once when they are issued. Coins and notes usually come in well-worn condition. You get six coins: 10 Lisente with a goat, 20 Lisente with a plant, 50 Liscente with a native on horseback, 1 Loti with the King, 2 Loti with gains, and 5 Loti with more grains. Their currency is very strong so this set is more expensive. Someone had to go to Lesotho deal with the Central Bank and then get them back to this country…

Cambodia 4 coin Mint Set

Cambodia, 4 coin Mint Set

Cambodia in modern times has had quite a turbulent history and has gone through changes of their name. The four coins here include one issued under People’s Republic of Kampuchea (their name for their country) and three for the Kingdom of Kampuchea. They were made in 1979 and 1994. The four coins are all in uncirculated condition and from a country that is not easy to get coins out of. It took me a time to work them out as the legend is in Cambodian and not English.

Israel, 4 Coins Older Mint Set

These four coins were issued in Israel in the 1960s and 1970s. They are no longer valid for use, but are an important part of their numismatic history. They are the 1, 5, 10 and 25 Agorot and are in uncirculated condition. Please remember that they are 40-50 years old and not many were put aside at the time. We think that at just £3.50 they are excellent value and for sure not easy to find.
