Golden Jubilee GB / Soloman Golden Jubilee Coin Cover

This large-sized Crown Cover was issued in 2002 to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of Her Majesty becoming our Queen in 1952. She got the news at ‘Tree Tops’ where we have seen the plaque. The cover is rather striking it has the five British stamps issued by the Post Office in impressive black and white. The cover has a large picture of the Queen wearing a pink outfit. The crown is a $5.00 piece from The Solomon Islands and is one that you don’t often see from a nation that again you don’t often see. Each Mercury Cover is individually numbered. A handsome Coin Cover and next year will be her 70th anniversary.
