Gibraltar/Kiribati Coin Cover

1952-2002 that is the 50 years since Elizabeth became our Queen. To honour this 50th anniversary, Gibraltar issued a special Crown. On it is the Queen holding a bunch of flowers and being greeted by a crowd of well wishers. This Crown was then placed in a full colour envelope and cancelled with a First Day cancel from the South Pacific island nation of Kiribati. It was cancelled with a $2 and $5 stamp. The Crown is Prooflike Brilliant Uncirculated and it is a handsome CrownCover. Supplies are limited.

4 Sets of 3 1967 Painting Stamps Mint

This beautiful set of three famous paintings was issued by the Post Office almost 50 years ago. There are three stamps of 4d (Master Lambton) by Sir Thomas Lawrence, 9d (Mares & Foals) by George Stubbs and 1/6 (Children coming out of school) by L. S. Lowry in Mint unused condition. At the time the face value of 31 pence would have bought you 5 copies of the Sunday Times with colour supplement (today £12.50). We bought the sets from someone who put them away in 1967. I am going to offer you a spectacular buy. I am going to offer the set of 3 Mint unused British Painting Stamps not for £12.50 a set, but rather 4 sets, a total of 12 Mint Stamps for just £4.50. These would make excellent gifts for anyone interested in art.

Picture of Elizabeth II, £2 Pair of Big Ben 2017 Silver Proofs Cased

Elizabeth II, £2 Pair of Big Ben 2017 Silver Proofs Cased

In 2017 the Royal Mint issued a £2 coin that contained one ounce of Pure Silver. We know because we sold the Uncirculated pieces. We thought that was all there was... But recently we bought from an overseas distributor, not one piece in Proof condition, but a pair of Proof pieces in their original Royal Mint case of issue. One coin is in Brilliant Proof and the other is in Reverse Proof condition. The mintage for the pair is only 800 pieces in each finish. We have never seen this set before and we're not even sure if it was ever even for sale in this country. Normally you would expect to pay £125-£150 for each of these two coins or £250-£300 for the pair. A fantastic chance to add this very low mintage pair of Silver Proofs to your collection at a much more interesting price. You get both silver Proof Big Ben £2 coins, one in Brilliant Proof, and the other in Reverse Proof. The pair is sold with its Royal Mint case for just £165.00
