George VI, Threepence (Brass) 1951 Circulated

The brass threepence was first issued in 1937 and last issued in 1967. 1951 is one of the scarce dates of the George VI issue. Each coin is in selected circulated condition and is of course scarce and difficult to find. It has taken some time to put this group together, many of the coins while struck in this country, were shipped overseas to help with a shortage of small coins.

George VI, Threepence (Brass) 1946 Circulated - Scarce

The Brass Threepence was first issued in 1937 and last issued for circulation in 1967. What we consider to be the Key date of the series is the King George VI 1946 issue. It has always been difficult to find in this country because, although struck by the Royal Mint, the coins were sent overseas for use in the Caribbean. We have recently purchased a nice group of these coins which grade in Fine condition.

5 Silver Threepences Christmas Pudding

5 Silver Threepences for Christmas Pudding

The Royal Mint Stopped making silver threepences for circulation in 1944, but the later dates are more difficult to find, as most were made for export. We have just bought a huge lot of King George V and King George VI Silver Threepences, 2,300 pieces to be exact. At Christmas, these are used as gifts and also to go into the Christmas pudding. the person who finds it gets a present. These are not separated either by type or date, when the order comes in, someone will just count them out and put them in an envelope. They make excellent holiday gifts. They are circulated but there are no dogs, we made sure of that. A great Christmas Gift!

Elizabeth II, Two Pence 1984 Unc

The 1984 Halfpence, Two Pence, Five Pence, Ten Pence and Fifty Pence were not struck for circulation. The only way to get one of these coins is to buy a Mint Set or Proof Set and break it up. They only made 158,820 of the Mint Set with the coins in Specimen Brilliant Uncirculated condition. That makes these coins some of the lowest mintage coins around. Offered here is the Twopence in Brilliant Uncirculated condition.
