Azes II, an Indo-Scythian king, reigned in the region of present-day Pakistan and India during the late 1st century BC. His rule is marked by the further expansion and consolidation of the Indo-Scythian influence in the Indian subcontinent. Azes II is known for his bilingual coinage, which featured Greek and Kharosthi scripts, reflecting the cultural syncretism of his reign.
