FAO United Nations - 25th World Food Day 2005

Issued in 2005 for the 25th World Food Day on the 16th of October, this handsome very high relief art medal was issued by the United Nations in Rome. It was issued by the FAO or Food For All Organization. It has some wheat growing out of an open book and the other side has a globe with a cartouche. One of the highest relief medallions that I have seen and making it must have been quite difficult. They are Uncirculated and struck in bronze with a light golden finish.
