Elizabeth II, £2 (Millennium) 2000 Silver Proof

This one is a winner, the £2 issued for the Millennium in 2000, but a Sterling Silver Proof coin. It has two different colours, but the outer ring is gold plated and the coin is solid Sterling Silver and a gleaming proof. This is the new design with, of course, the portrait of H. M. Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse. These Royal Mint coins come in a protective capsule as issued. Remember they are now 26 years old and much cheaper than the Mint charges for similar pieces today.
