Picture of Edward VII, Complete Penny Set

Edward VII, Complete Penny Set

It has been quite some time since we were last able to offer you the complete date set of King Edward VII Pennies. To be honest, there just are not all that many around to make up collections. They were saved by a friend, who took the time to sort the hoard of Edward VII Pennies that he had accumulated over 20 years by date. Then he made complete date collections for us. Not only did he make date collections, but at a price that allows us to offer them to you at a special price. You get one of each date of King Edward VII Penny struck from 1902-1910. That means, 1902, 1903, 1904, 1905, 1906, 1907, 1908, 1909 and 1910. Every coin is over 100 years old and while circulated, they are still in very reasonable condition. You get all 9 different dates, which normally would sell for £24.50 as individual coins.

Picture of Edward VII, One Third Farthing 1902 Brilliant Unc

Edward VII, One Third Farthing 1902 Brilliant Unc

To us, one of the most interesting and difficult coins of King Edward VII has always been the Third Farthing. It is the smallest coin issued by Edward VII and it was made for only one year 1902. A Farthing was 960 to the pound and these are each one third of that Farthing. Although legal tender and used in this country, they were mainly made for use in Malta and Ceylon. The mintage is just 288,000 and they are now 116 years old. This group came in from a dealer who bought them from someone who put them away in 1902. The coins are in Brilliant Uncirculated condition and remember they are a one year type coin and very low mintage.
