King Edward I ruled from 1272-1307 and the largest coin in use at the time was the Silver Penny. They were struck at several different mints around the country but mostly in London and Canterbury. They have the facing portrait of Edward I and, on the other side, a long cross design with the name of the mint where the coin was struck.
