The first stock update of 2020 came a little later than we had hoped for, but it did bring with it some amazing items. While one of the most impressive might have been the Victorian Old Head Sovereign, we also had other interesting items such as a 1902 Edward VII Silver Crown, a George V Hafcrown and a Billon Silver Antoninianus, from the rebel emperor Postumus.
Coincraft's newsletter that was sent out to our collectors on 20th September. In this newsletter, we announced the creation of two new category pages: Olympic Coins and Pop Culture Coins. We also presented our collectors with a number of very interesting items such as a Complete Date Set of Jubilee Head Crowns, a US Millennium State Quarters Proof Set, Saddam Hussein banknotes amongst many other items!
Some fascinating pieces were included in this newsletter, including brilliant Edward VIII plain edge collection coins, a Merlyn Lowther Historical £20 note and a Victorian Sixpence from 1887. And for our featured item of the month, we brought you a Treasure Silver Penny from Edward I's reign.
On February 2019, our fifth newsletter went out, as usual, we informed our customers of the new stock available on our website. In this upload, items such as a £5 commemorative crown of the Royal Wedding, Royal Mint Zodiac Medallions, a 1901 Victorian penny, and a Margaret Thatcher Proof Ingot were featured.
In the first newsletter of 2019, we looked exclusively at some major anniversaries happening in 2019, from the 50th anniversary of the Concorde's maiden flight to the 25oth anniversary of the disembarkment of Captain Cook in New Zealand.
