Bank of China Calcutta 1940-50's Cheque

These cheques, issued in the 1950’s, were drawn on the Calcutta Branch of the Bank of China. They are quite large with a vignette of a globe with the map of China outlined and Chinese characters below. Interesting evidence of China’s trading presence in India some 60 odd years ago.
