Austria, pre-Euro set of 6 coins

Austria was one of the 12 countries to join the euro when it was launched in 2002, but until then the country used the schilling which was subdivided into 100 groschen. The reason that the 5 groschen was made of zinc was because they were struck on leftover blanks from wartime Reichpfennig coins, and although they were no longer made after 1992, they remained legal tender until 2002. The other coins are the aluminium 20 groschen and the aluminium bronze 50 groschen and 1 Schilling, as well as the copper nickel 5 and 10 Schilling.
