Civil War Pistol Ball

The English Civil War (1642-1651) was the first conflict fought on English soil using handheld firearms en masse with a tactic called ‘Pike and Shot’. This meant a large formation of infantry with guns firing and pike defending against attack. Most lead ammunition was made using hand moulds by the men who used it. This makes every ball different, made to the requirements of the man and his gun. Over lockdown we had a chance to sort out and found an old box of this shot. Here we offer pistol balls from the English Civil War, we priced these to please. Each will come with a certificate of Authenticity. Get some of the first bullets Made in Britain.
