Elizabeth II, £1 (English Pound) 1992 Silver Proof in capsule FDC

In 1987 the Royal Mint issued a pound coin with the Oak Tree to represent England and in 1992 they repeated this design on the Pound coin. Again they issued the coins as Sterling Silver Proofs for collectors but in 1992 the mintage was considerably lower than in 1987. All coins are Proof Sterling Silver and in their original capsules as issued. Supplies are short and with the new design of pound coin just released these older issues will be in greater demand.
