This is a fantastic new collection of coins, stamps, and a banknote from World War II. It is exclusive to Coincraft and there were only 5,000 sets made. They make excellent gifts and are rather handsome. You get a set of 4 British coins of King George VI that actually circulated during the Second World War; all coins are dated 1937-1945. They consist of the Brass Threepence, Penny, Halfpenny, and Farthing. You also get the 1943 United States Cent struck in steel; it was only ever struck for one year. Plus a Cent dated 1944-1946 made from melted-down shell cases. You get a Churchill crown, as he was our wartime Prime Minister. You also get a large-sized 1 Lire coin from Italy dated 1940, the year they declared war against Great Britain. Plus you get a pair of mint stamps for the Liberation of the Channel Islands with King George VI’s portrait. Plus two mint stamps from the United States showing the overrun nations of The Netherlands and Luxembourg. Plus a stamp issued by this country just after the War, where they reduced the colour to save ink. You will also get a large-sized 10 Rupee note from Burma, issued while it was under Japanese occupation. We have put together a few sets of the Silver coins issued by King George VI during World War II. But best of all these Silver coins are in Uncirculated condition. All the coins except the silver threepence will be dated between 1939-1945, the dates in each set will vary, that is they are not all the same date. It took me quite a while to put these World War II Uncirculated Silver Sets together, as some of the coins are very difficult to find in Uncirculated. The Threepence will be 1937 the year of King George VI Coronation. You get the Silver Threepence, Silver Sixpence, Silver English Shilling, Silver Scottish Shilling, Silver Florin and Silver Halfcrown all of George VI all issued during World War II except the Threepence and most importantly they are in Uncirculated condition. We all admired the excellent award-winning movie, ‘The King’s Speech’ in 2010 which showed King George VI’s determination and strength. Now you can own original coins from the reign of George VI issued from 1937-1952, a Coronation Stamp issued in 1937 and a banknote issued just after World War II. You’ll receive the coins that were actually used during George VI’s reign: the bronze Farthing, Halfpenny and Penny, plus the brass Threepence, Silver Threepence and cupronickel Sixpence, Shilling, Florin and Half Crown. We can now offer you the complete collection of King George VI Silver Sixpences. From the Coronation issue in 1937 to the last Silver Sixpence ever made in 1946. All coins are in selected circulated condition and you get every date, 1937, 1938, 1939, 1940, 1941, 1942, 1943, 1944, 1945 and of course 1946. You will note that this collection also includes the complete World War II date set as well. At one time the Royal Mint were selling these coins individually in a fancy box for £26.00 each! Atlantic Star, World War II Medal

This is in our opinion one of the Rarest of the World War II Stars. The Atlantic Star was instituted in May of 1945 to honour those who took place in the Battle of the Atlantic. It was mainly for those who were part of shipping convoys, a mission that many did not come back from. It was also for those who were their escorts and anti-submarine people. We've handled many World War II medals, but this is the first group of Atlantic Stars that we've had the privilege to offer. Complete with ribbon, for those brave sailors who fought against the U-boats. It is rare and teaches one humility.

Burma Star, World War II Medal

Of the eight different campaign stars awarded during the Second World War two of the scarcer issues are the Pacific Star and the Burma Star. We are able to offer a small quantity of The Burma Star, which was awarded for operational service in the Burma campaign and in Bengal or Assam, broadly from 1941 to early 1944. We have just seven of these scarce campaign stars with the appropriate ribbon available, so don't miss out!

Churchill World War II Medal Collection

This is a beautiful collection of medals that are part of The Worth collection. The medals honour Churchill in World War II. These are silver plated and there are five different crown-sized medals in a handsome presentation case. On the obverse of each medal is a stern portrait of Churchill with the legend ‘We shall never surrender’ and the dates 1874-1965. The medals have full-colour photos of the Heinkel He 111 German bombers present during the Battle of Britain, the Soviet T-34 Medium Tank, the US M4 Sherman Medium Tank, the British Churchill Tank, and the German PZKPFW-V tank. It is a handsome collection and as usual with The Worth Collection, you get all five medals in the presentation case for just £19.50. Try and find a bargain like this anywhere else.

United States of America, Mercury Dime (World War II) BU

We've just had a small group of 27 Brilliant Uncirculated United States Mercury Dimes of 10-cent coins come in, there were going to be 50 pieces but only 27 were good enough. They were issued during World War Two and it is considered to be one of America’s most beautiful coins. We normally get this coin in Fine condition but in Brilliant Uncirculated condition it is really a beautiful coin. Get them while you can.

World War II 1939-45 British War Medal

In the past we have offered these two British World War II War Medals. But as they usually come from overseas the quality was alright but not all that great. We were recently offered from one of our contacts in Scotland a group of these War Medals in Brilliant brand new condition. We couldn’t believe it when wesaw them, they were brand new condition and as bright as the day they were struck. Here we present ‘The War Medal’ with the crowned bust of King George VI and the red, white and blue ribbon. We believe that they were bought directly from the Ministry of Defence and that is why they are in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. Obviously made for the War and just put away and forgotten. These are fantastic; the quality is the best that I have seen. You can have these Brilliant Uncirculated medals. We have never seen them so good and I might never see them this quality again. Simply Fantastic!
