Victoria, 1897 Bronze Medallion Extremely Fine
In 1897 Queen Victoria celebrated her Diamond Jubilee as our Queen. The Royal Mint issued, in 1897, a large sized bronze medallion to commemorate this historic event 1837-1897. It had the Young Head portrait of Queen Victoria on one side and the Old Head portrait on the other side. This handsome double headed medallion is Official and over 120 years old. We can offer them here in Extremely Fine. As usual, We think you will find our grading conservative and most pleasing. We don’t have all that many in stock, as the antique dealers have started realising just how handsome and reasonably priced these Queen Victoria medals are.Even better, they all come in their original red leather cases of issue. Some are a little worn but wouldn’t you be after 120 years!
