Ukraine 1000 Hryven 2021 30th Ann Independence P-New Unc

In 2021 Ukraine celebrated 30 years of independence following the breakup of the Soviet Union. To mark the event they issued a special series of banknotes. From this series, of which just 30,000 were issued, we offer the highest denomination – the 1000 hryven.(P-New). This impressive note, with the anniversary overprint, features the equally impressive Vladimir Vernadsky. He was considered one of the founders of geochemistry and was instrumental in setting up the Ukrainian National Academy of Sciences. The Presidium of this organisation appears on the back.
