This Crown Cover was issued in 2011 as part of the Lifetime of Service Series to mark the 85th Birthday of H. M. the Queen and the 90th Birthday of H.R.H. Prince Philip and their long service to the nation. You have a cover with a photo of The Queen and Prince Philip which is also on the diamond-shaped stamp of $1.50 from St. Lucia. There is a Crown from Ascension Island with crowed E & P on the reverse and the Queen on the obverse. You don’t normally see Crowns from Ascension, as they are usually paired up with St. Helena. The Crown is Prooflike Uncirculated and scarce.
This beautiful Crown was issued in 2011 for Queen Elizabeth II’s 85th birthday. You have the conjoined busts of H. M. Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip on the reverse and H.M. Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse. It is full crownsized and has been gold plated before striking to make it even more beautiful. It says it all really with the inscription ‘Royal Birthday Commemoration’ ‘2011’ and ‘One Crown’. It is in Proof condition and comes in a protective capsule to protect the coin.
