Recently an old dealer friend got in touch. In 1967 Singapore and Brunei came to an agreement whereby each currency would be valid in the other’s territory. The 40th Anniversary of this Currency Interchageability Agreement was celebrated in 2007 with the issue of a special 20 ringgit note in polymer plastic.
