Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue... you know how the rest of the rhyme goes, don't you?
On this new stock upload, we really do have something old and something new (new by our standards), but nothing is borrowed and only two items are blue. We do however have Sixpences, but you don't have to give them to a bride if you don't want to.
This large-sized crown from Uganda depicts a Tiger. Issued in 2010 as part of the ‘Man Eaters’ series these are extra large-sized 100 Shillings or crowns. They look to be silver, but are in fact are heavily silver plated. On the reverses are the arms of Uganda two animals on either side of a native shield. The reverse has a full-colour photograph of the Tiger. They are in choice-proof condition and they come in a protective capsule. They are beautiful, and this is the first time we have been able to offer them. We have kept the prices as low as possible and you would have trouble finding them elsewhere...
We have in the past sold medals for President Obama, President Trump and now President Biden. There are no political implications, we just buy and sell. But what a fantastic offer we have for you on these Presidential Candidate Joe Biden medallion sets. This collection of five different full-colour medallions was made for the Worth Collection and we understand that it originally sold for £72.50. They come in a handsome presentation case and each medal has a different full-colour photograph of President to be, Joe Biden. They are dated 2020 and the reverse of each has a picture of Joe Biden, Presidential Candidate. You get five different crownsized full-colour medals in a handsome presentation case for just £27.95 that is just under £7 a medallion. Supplies are limited and you are buying it at about a 60% discount from the original price. It is a handsome collection.
A friend in Manchester decided a number of years ago to use the Bonomi (an engraver who privately made patterns for Victorian Crowns) design and make some Patina retro patterns of British interest. We believe he made between 50 and 70 pieces of each in Silver. We bought them all. Here we present the Eire or Ireland issue in Matt Proof Sterling Silver. Very Limited number available and worth having.
