The Chartered Bank in Hong operated between 1961 until the 1980’s when it became known as the Standard Bank and subsequently as the Standard Chartered Bank. These 5 dollars were issued in 1975 (P73b) The Bank’s Headquarters are featured on the front while the back depicts City Hall.
