2 Islands CrownCover

We think that the two remote islands that honoured H. M. the Queen are most interesting. The Falkland Islands is well known because of Argentina invading it. Nauru is a rather small, being the 3rd smallest nation in the world with a population of just 11,347. It is in the South Pacific and was known as the Phosphate Rock, until the phosphate ran out. This CrownCover contains a Prooflike 50 Pence of the Falkland Islands highlighted in red white and blue. There is an orb and sceptre on the reverse and H. M. Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse. The cover has a full colour photograph of the Queen. There are four stamps from Nauru on the cover, 70c, 80c, 90c and $1.00. A most unusual CrownCover from two remote islands, both still loyal to The Queen.

20 FID Coin Hole Covers

This is something that everyone will want, either for themselves or as a present, but there is a limit of 2 Collections per order. These are beautiful First Day Covers made up between about 2002 and 2011. But there is a hole in the middle of each cover; this was to hold a crownsized coin. Mercury who issued them made more covers than coins. They had a warehouse full and we bought them. Each package is 20 different covers the vast majority of Royal interest. You have a full cover photograph and an actual stamp cancelled with a special cancellation. Some of the stamps have a face value of over £1.00. But here is the bargain you get 20 different covers all with stamps for just £8.50, which makes them 42.5 Pence each. The stamps alone are worth more in many cases. They are colourful, yes they have a hole for a coin in them, but they are 42.5 Pence each, talk about a bargain. Limit two sets per order. Each package is different, but there will be some duplication between packages. Get them while they last…

10 Non GB First Day Covers

In the huge lot of First Day Covers (FDC) that we bought, there were a certain amount of non Great Britain covers. We have placed them aside and counted them into bundles of ten (10) different covers. Some are Jersey, Guernsey and Isle of Man all of which issue FDC’s in far smaller numbers than our Post Office. But I have also included other countries, including two from Africa. We don’t know which countries you are going to get, as we have someone who doesn’t know anything about stamps counting them out. That way, if something scarce or rare comes up, it is still included in the package. You can have ten different non GB First Day Covers at a reasonable price. If you order a great number of bundles there is some chance that there might be some slight duplication, but the more you order, the more you get.

7 Different WWF First Day Covers

We offered these covers more than ten years ago and Steve has just found a small group that was ‘misplaced’. They are the Official World Wildlife Fund First Day Covers and they were issued all over the world between 1989-1990. Each cover has a full colour drawing of one animal and that country’s stamp with the same animal. It is affixed to the cover and cancelled with a special First Day of Issue cancellation. They are beautiful First Day Covers and helped raise a lot of money to help preserve animals world-wide. Here we offer them either in packages of 7 different First Day Covers. Supplies are very limited and they are fantastic.
