These £10 share certificates dated 1871 were issued to raise money for the Twenty Well Stone & Brick Company Limited. This was situated on Twenty Well Lane in Sheffield and was owned by Tedbar Tinker who lived in Bradway Derbyshire. His company began life as a quarry and later became brickworks
eventually closing in 1939. Measuring 10” x 6.5” these are uniface certificates with an impressed seal.
