Congo, Warriors Of The World, Gladiator

From the series of Warriors of the World issued by the Democratic Republic of Congo in 2010, we offer this time the Gladiator. This is a silver-plated proof strike 10 Franc coin with the Arms of Congo on the obverse which is a leopard’s head with an elephant tusk to one side and a spear to the other with the motto in French ‘Justice, Paix, Travail / Justice, Peace, Labour’ below. Listed in Krause KM.203 with a mintage of only 1000 pieces.
