10 Non GB First Day Covers

In the huge lot of First Day Covers (FDC) that we bought, there were a certain amount of non Great Britain covers. We have placed them aside and counted them into bundles of ten (10) different covers. Some are Jersey, Guernsey and Isle of Man all of which issue FDC’s in far smaller numbers than our Post Office. But I have also included other countries, including two from Africa. We don’t know which countries you are going to get, as we have someone who doesn’t know anything about stamps counting them out. That way, if something scarce or rare comes up, it is still included in the package. You can have ten different non GB First Day Covers at a reasonable price. If you order a great number of bundles there is some chance that there might be some slight duplication, but the more you order, the more you get.

10 Different Early First Day Covers

We recently bought a stamp dealer out of all the older First Day Covers (FDC) that he had in stock and there were thousands of them. They date from the 1960’s and 1970’s with an occasional cover from the 1980’s. But we made sure that each cover had more than one commemorative stamp on them and many of the covers have as many as four different stamps on them. Each cover has a cache on it and it was cancelled on the first day that the stamps were issued. We are bundling them into groups of ten different covers, each with more than one stamp on each and we are going to offer them at just £9.50 a bundle. That works out to less than £1.00 a cover and these are older covers. Each bundle will be different and no one knows which covers you will get, but at only 95p each we think they are very interesting.

Picture of Tristan da Cunha, Christopher Columbus

Tristan da Cunha, Christopher Columbus

Columbus discovered more than just America, he discovered the Caribbean Islands as well. This beautiful diamond-shaped Crown from Tristan da Cunha does him great justice. Christopher with wide tricorn hat, sailing ship to his right and ships wheel above is on one side and H.M. Queen Elizabeth II is on the other side. Each coin is in Proof condition and is heavily silver plated to gleam. Then it is put into a diamond shaped plastic display case to help preserve it. Now you can own a most unusual and interesting coin of that great explorer Christopher Columbus for a very competitive price: we doubt that any would be issued today at such a reasonable price.
